What we are doing

The association "Growing Seeds of Africa" with has its headquarter in the 29320 Südheide, Germany. It pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes in the sense of the section "tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code.

The purpose of the association is to promote development cooperation through the ideal and financial support of projects in Kenya. The principle of helping people to help themselves, i.e. every measure should empower people and support them to help themselves and to build up and maintain their own existence and sustainable livelihood.

The purpose of the statute is realized in particular by:

a.   The establishment and promotion of facilities in which young adults are supported and trained in their preparations for starting a business

b.   Financial support so that young adults can start a business and live a decent life

c.    The establishment and promotion of a facility for the training and support of beekeepers

d.    The establishment and promotion of a facility for recycling plastic waste

e.    Any suitable action that fulfills the purpose of the articles of association

Our projects create social and ecological impacts: 

Jobs for skilled and unskilled Kenyans instead of unemployment, lack of prospects and rural exodus

Apprenticeships with a technical background and an upswing instead of youth unemployment and stagnation

Solving the plastic waste problem and recycling valuable resources instead of pollution and wasting oil reserves

Increasing the productivity of farmers and thus increasing incomes and securing food production instead of poverty and hunger
